As believers, we are given new life equipped with spiritual gifts to be used in expanding the Kingdom of God which is in obedience to the Great Commission. We are to build up the body of Christ in unity of faith and become spiritually mature in Christ, Ephesians 4:11-13. Then we are being examples for the rest of the world, not being conformed to it but rather seeking first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, Matthew 6:33. Being obedient to His Word will bring blessings to us, growth both spiritually and physically, and "all these things will be added to you."
Relevant Biblical Learning
We believe the Bible is the inerrant infallible Word of God, and that the very words where inspired, and that it is completely relevant to today,Hebrews 13:8. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. The Bible is our source of information about God and how to live. All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness II Timothy 3:16; and relevant to 21st century living.
Biblical Beliefs
We place our faith wholly in the Lord Jesus Christ for our salvation believing in the teachings and practices of the Baptists and in those distinctive principles for which they have ever stood, namely:
The preeminence of Christ as our divine Lord and Master
The supreme authority of the Bible and its sufficiency as our only rule of faith and practice
The right of the individual soul to approach God directly
The absolute separation of Church and State
A regenerate Church membership
The beautiful symbolic ordinances of believer's baptism and observance of the Lord's Table in obedience to the Commands of Christ
The complete independence of the local Church and its interdependence in associated fellowship with other Baptist Churches
The solemn obligations of majority rule, guaranteeing equal rights to all, and special priviledges to none
The spiritual unity of all believers for which the Master so earnestly prayed
A world-wide program of missionary fervor and evangelism in obedience to the final command of Jesus
We therefore band ourselves together as a body of baptized (immersed) believers in Jesus Christ.
Big enough to minister to all ages;
Small enough to get to know everyone!
